Women & Hi Tech Announces Lindsay Gramlich as Emcee for the 2026 Leading Light Awards & Scholarship Gala

Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis President and CEO to emcee Women & Hi Tech’s signature biennial celebration of Indiana’s women in STEM and their allies.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — September 2026 — Women & Hi Tech is pleased to announce Lindsay Gramlich, President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis, as the emcee for the 2026 Leading Light Awards & Scholarship Gala, taking place Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis.

The Leading Light Awards & Scholarship Gala is Women & Hi Tech’s signature biennial event, bringing together leaders, professionals, educators, students and community partners from across Indiana to recognize outstanding women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), as well as the allies who champion their advancement.

This year’s theme, Connected Brilliance, celebrates the powerful network of individuals whose combined leadership, insight, mentorship and innovation continue to move Indiana’s STEM community forward.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lindsay Gramlich as the emcee of this year’s Leading Light Awards,” said Heidi Melton, President of Women & Hi Tech. “Lindsay’s commitment to leadership, community impact and developing the next generation of women and girls makes her an exceptional voice for an evening centered on connection, opportunity and recognizing those who are creating meaningful change across Indiana. We look forward to having her help us celebrate the remarkable people who make our STEM community stronger.”
Professionally, Lindsay currently serves as President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis. Lindsay joined the Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis team in the fall of 2022. Prior to this time, Lindsay served in several leadership positions at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis for 12 years. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Political Science from DePauw University, and a Master of Public Affairs from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. Lindsay was named Forty Under 40 by the Indianapolis Business Journal in 2026. She is an active volunteer, serving on many boards, including The DePauw University Alumni Association Board of Directors. She is a proud alumna of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Class 46, The Mitch Daniels Leadership Fellowship Class 2, and just completed the Hamilton County Leadership Academy.

Personally, Lindsay Gramlich is mom to three kiddos, Fitz (10), Mia (7), and Cam (5). She lives in Carmel, Indiana with her husband Matt, three kids, and two dogs Lucca and Molly.

The 2026 Leading Light Awards & Scholarship Gala will include networking, dinner, the presentation of scholarships and professional development grants, and recognition of individuals making an extraordinary impact across Indiana’s STEM community. The evening begins with networking and cocktails from 5:30–6:30 p.m., followed by the opening and welcome, dinner and awards program, and a closing networking celebration through 10:00 p.m.
