She also manages the early career development career development including co-ops, the graduate development program, college recruiting and K-12 initiatives.
Tiffany is a fierce champion for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM). She invests her expertise to increasing the number of women who study and work in STEM through executing programs that expose girls to the potential of a STEM career, role modeling through public speaking engagements, formal and informal mentoring, and influencing positive change by relentless engagement of business and community leaders. As a member of Women & Hi Tech board, Eleven Fifty Academy’s Industry Advisory board, and Pass the Torch for Women’s 500 Circle, she has the opportunity make a significant impact in the community.
Tiffany has previously severed on the Women & Hi Tech board as President, Vice President and Outreach Chair for K-12. In collaboration with Connor Prairie, she designed of our signature outreach event Passport to Hi Tech (P2HT). P2HT is an annual event for girls and boys to learn about careers in STEM. Building on the success of P2HT, Tiffany led a new initiative in 2016 to encourage underserved middle school girls to study and pursue careers in STEM disciplines. Ignite Your Superpower! is based on the concept that we all have unique gifts, we just need to find them and set them free.
Tiffany spends her spare time with her brilliant, funny, and supportive husband and the two most important young women in her life, her daughters, Hannah and Sarah. Her family also includes an incredible smart, full of energy, yet somewhat crazy English springer spaniel named Luna Evangeline. Many summer evenings are spent on the deck with the whole family, drinking beverages and throwing a ball for Luna to retrieve...or not.
After 20 years of quite literally being the only woman in the room, Women & Hi Tech provided Tiffany the opportunity to work with intelligent, hardworking, and articulate women. These women support and encourage Tiffany giving her the confidence to reach for even greater heights.
Tiffany would like to see Women & Hi Tech continue their outreach to underrepresented communities helping to broaden, deepen, and enrich the Indianapolis STEM community even further.
