Darcy Lee
Passionate about Women & Hi Tech’s mission, Darcy Lee joined the Board of Directors in 2016 as Treasurer and Chair of the Leading Light Awards (LLA). Among other roles over the years, Darcy served as Women & Hi Tech’s President in 2018/2019. She continues to support women in STEM in Indiana as an Active Emeritus, serving on multiple committees (Growth, Fort Wayne, LLA). Darcy is a proud graduate of Indiana University, with degrees in Cognitive Science and Psychology. She has spent 20+ years as a business professional in roles ranging from Director of Sales to COO, serving clients of all sizes in a vast array of industries. With a strong, diverse skillset comprised of strategic planning, operations, business management, sales, marketing and customer success, Darcy has contributed significantly to Women & Hi Tech’s growth and impact in her time on the Women & Hi Tech Board of Directors. In 2023, Darcy was a TechPoint Tech25 honoree for Tech Innovation Strategy & Community. This recognition showcased Darcy’s contribution to building Indiana’s digital innovation ecosystem and commitment to building strong communities. That same year, Darcy turned her community building capabilities, diverse skillset, and decades of experience into her own consulting firm, Vita Nova Strategy, where she serves as a Fractional Executive and Business Strategist. In addition to her passions for supporting women in STEM and building strong communities, Darcy is also passionate about tackling climate change, mentoring/coaching, DEI and improving gaps in our mental health system. She currently serves on the Program Committee for the Indy Chamber Central Indiana Women’s Business Center. Darcy and her family live peacefully in a quaint suburb of Indianapolis. She is the proud mother of two teenagers—one, a high schooler and active volleyball player (#volleyballmom), and the other, an engineering student at Purdue University. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, the great outdoors, music, good conversation, and reading. During her time on the board, Darcy’s goals have always been and remain to help create sustainable infrastructure, increase awareness of the organization and its value, and facilitate deep meaningful relationships between women in STEM.
