Executive Women's Forum - Genius or Genius Maker

There are two dramatically different types of leaders. Diminishers drain intelligence and energy from the people around them, while Multipliers use their intelligence to amplify the smarts and capabilities of the people around them. Elise Foster, co-author of The Multiplier Effect, will share the research behind Multipliers and illustrate the resoundingly positive effect they have – how they get more done with fewer resources, develop and attract talent, and cultivate new ideas and energy to drive the organization. She’ll introduce the five disciplines that distinguish Multipliers from Diminishers and provide practice tips for creating more Multiplier moments.

Elise Foster is the co-author of the Multiplier Effect and a leadership consultant who studied at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and has helped dozens of leaders become more effective. She brings her systems engineering mindset to bear as she invites leaders to bring out the best in everyone around them. She is actively involved with her local school district, both as a community member and parent and she finds that many of her best leadership lessons come from her 6 year old daughter.
