Women & Hi Tech's OperationALL: Advocates for Gender Equity

Women are far less likely than their male counterparts to get constructive feedback or receive challenging stretch assignments at work. Being challenged is necessary for positive career growth. Through better understanding our gender biases, together we can lead as allies to helping advance women in the workplace through candid feedback, challenging with care, and coaching them to success. In this interactive workshop, author and TEDx speaker Julie Kratz will facilitate a robust discussion with actionable tools and strategies to lead like an ally. Together, we will canvass: how to give and receive candid feedback, the importance of challenging people equally, and how to coach women and those are different from you. You will walk away with a plan using proven tools to support positive change in your workplace.
