GIRL SCOUTS are seeking volunteers for Circle the City
VOLUNTEERS needed to set up, engage with attendees, and break down the booth.
Sept 18th at the Indiana State Museum
The Girl Scouts are also looking for volunteers to help with the largest Girl Scout program event of the year. They are anticipating 3,000 girls and adults to this one day event. They have partnered with over 40 community partners, including the Eiteljorg, Indianapolis Zoo, Indiana State House, Indiana Historical Society, IMAX, and the Indiana State Museum.
Volunteers are needed to help in many capacities that will enrich the experience of the guests in attendance, including:
Badge Ambassador: Help with leading badge activities at the museum for k-12th graders. Utilizing exhibits at the museum the girls will earn a badge. You will facilitate one hour programming with k-12th graders.
Information Booth: Help to staff the Information Booth by assisting to answer general event questions (a FAQ's sheet will be provided).May also be need to assist with basic first aid or reuniting girls who become separated from their troop.
Travel Ambassador: Help troops walk to Indiana Historical Society, Eiteljorg, and the Indianapolis Zoo. Most of these girls are not from the Indianapolis area and are not familiar with downtown. This volunteer role will help troops find places to eat and visit on the canal.
