Are emojis still unprofessional? What is the etiquette for turning off your Zoom or Teams camera? And how long is too long before responding to an email? These questions, and their answers, are all connected to our digital body language—the emotions and meanings broadcast by our online behaviors.

Discuss tips and strategies to improve your digital body language with Amber Peckham and Tosin Ajayi on September 22 from 4-5pm.

For our September ClickSide Chat, Amber and Tosin will present on the topic of digital body language, drawing from a work by Erica Dhawan published in May 2021. “Online, reading carefully is the new listening. Writing clearly is the new empathy. And a phone or video call is worth a thousand emails,” writes Dhawan.

The chat will encompass insights and interactive activities to help attendees navigate virtual meetings, email, instant message, and text communication to build trust and connection with colleagues, friends, and family.

The event is FREE and exclusive to our members.

Space is extremely limited, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once registration is filled, no wait list will be initiated. Registration for ClickSide Chat is required in order to provide you with the final login instructions.
