Technology has revolutionized daily life by making tasks faster and more efficient. What once took hours or days can now be completed in moments, increasing productivity and freeing up time for what truly matters. It enhances both work and home life by simplifying tasks, providing entertainment, and fostering global connectedness. By ensuring people get what they need when they need it, technology creates a more convenient, fulfilling and balanced lifestyle.

Join Heidi Melton, Tiffany Trusty, Susan Vaughn and Membership Engagement Director Tori Harper Mercado as they share what apps, websites, products, and other resources they are using in their personal and professional lives that are making every day more efficient and fun.

Heidi Melton is an accomplished sales leader and a dedicated advocate for women in technology. She graduated from Purdue University in 2013 with a degree in Corporate Communications. Currently serving as a Sales Account Manager at Interactive Design Inc., Heidi is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth, market penetration, and customer acquisition. Her expertise lies in collaborating with leadership teams to define sales strategies, analyzing market trends, building strong client relationships, and providing mentorship to sales representatives. Outside of work, Heidi indulges in her creative side through crafting, painting, and hiking. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Dustin, and their two dogs.

Tiffany Trusty is your typical #NerdyGirl. When she is not using her Nerd Superpowers for the betterment of her community, she is standing up to represent diversity in STEM. Tiffany started her career in public safety, where she discovered her passion for the customer. It was an honor to serve firefighters and police officers with her products for over 15 years. Now, she serves the patient as her customer. As a Product Manager for a pharma company, her job is finding the right digital product to help the patient manage their conditions and live a better life. When she's not focused on customers, she's focused on supporting the females around her. Being a girl / woman in STEM can be lonely, and she has a lot of karma to pay back to those who paved the way for her.

Susan Vaughn is a seasoned professional with over three decades of consulting and training experience, embarked on her journey specializing in project management within the consulting realm. After dedicating a decade to a prominent consulting company, she transitioned in 2000 to a new chapter, founding her Project Management Consulting and Training company, fueled by her passion for project management. This new direction helped enable her to achieve a better work-life balance while pursuing her family and career aspirations. Susan’s latest passion is directing her focus towards project management offices, training, and mentorship – a trifecta that encapsulates her profound passion.

The event is FREE and exclusive to Women & Hi Tech members! Space is extremely limited, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once registration is filled, no wait list will be initiated. Registration for ClickSide Chat is required in order to provide you with the final login instructions.

Women & Hi Tech’s ClickSide Chats are monthly, virtual discussions amongst our members to share ideas, resources, and perspectives about the professional and personal challenges we are facing and serve to build new connections with fellow members. ClickSide Chats are held on the third Wednesday of each month, except July, from 4-5pm. One or more members serve as co-hosts and share their experiences, advice, talents, and resources for our greater good. ClickSide Chats are presented by the Membership Engagement Committee, led and facilitated by Women & Hi Tech Board Member Tori Harper-Mercado.

Tori Harper-Mercado is the Business Development Manager for Weddle Brothers Construction Companies, where she excels in her role as a relationship builder, networker and mentor. Prior to her pivot into construction, she devoted 4 years of her professional career in IT consulting, specializing in data analytics and AI best practices, which is also how she first got connected to Women & Hi Tech.

She holds a degree from the Kelley School of Business at IU Indianapolis and a sales certification from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Tori's diverse background includes experience in civil engineering, sports and entertainment and technology consulting sectors, where she has held various marketing and sales positions. In her spare time, she looks for new ways to develop her professional skills such as taking leadership training courses, attending local conferences, and working to become a master in her field of expertise.

Tori participates and involves herself in areas where she feels she can give back to her community such as coaching and mentoring athletes of her high school track and field team and being an active volunteer and committee member in various organizations.

Outside of work, she is a mom to two-under-two, a wife, and a new experience fanatic that thrives off of fun adventures, connectivity, and the love of animals (especially dogs).
