Samantha Battle is the Senior Manager of Corporate Culture and Engagement at Republic Airways, where she leads enterprise-wide initiatives focused on employee engagement, leadership development, culture strategy, and belonging. During her tenure at Republic, Samantha founded the company’s Business Resource Group program, including SOAR (Sisterhood Of Aviation at Republic), an initiative dedicated to mentoring and supporting women through professional development, networking, and community building.
Her work centers on creating meaningful employee experiences, fostering connection, and building programs that align organizational culture with business strategy. Samantha has led cross-functional events, leadership initiatives, and community partnerships designed to strengthen engagement and elevate underrepresented voices within the aviation industry and beyond.
In addition to her corporate leadership experience, Samantha serves as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, supporting and encouraging young women as they explore their future potential. She is passionate about empowering others, developing future leaders, and creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
Samantha was born and raised in England and moved to Indiana in 2010. She is passionate about mentorship, leadership development, travel, and creating meaningful experiences that bring people together. Outside of work, she enjoys attending arts and cultural events, exploring local coffee shops and is currently training to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. She is deeply committed to volunteerism and supporting initiatives that create access, representation, and opportunity for others.
Samantha realized the importance of organizations like Women & Hi Tech after seeing how transformative mentorship, representation, and community can be for women navigating traditionally underrepresented spaces. Access to connection and support does not just impact careers; it builds confidence, visibility and long-term opportunity.
