Karen Harris is the Vice President and Information Officer of Manufacturing and Quality for Eli Lilly and Company. Karen joined Lilly in 2000 and is currently leading the company’s Information Technology Organization supporting the Global Manufacturing and Quality Organizations worldwide.
 
Previously, Karen started her career with Crowe Horwath International as an ERP Systems Consultant specializing in Manufacturing and Distribution Areas.  She joined Lilly as a Supply Chain Sr Analyst and has spent the majority of her career in Manufacturing and Quality IT leadership positions such as Supply Chain IT Manager, Bulk Execution Systems Manager, Manufacturing Data and Analytics Director, Indy Parenteral and Device Site IT Director, Manufacturing Execution Systems/Supply Chain/Serialization IT Director and Parenteral and Device IT Sr Director.  She most recently was the IT Sr Director for Clinical Operations across the Medicines Development Business Unit.
 
Karen is the Executive Engagement Sponsor across the IT function at Eli Lilly, with key focus on Diversity & Inclusion.  Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University. 
 
Karen married her college sweetheart, they live in Greenwood, Indiana and have two boys at Purdue University and University of Cincinnati studying Engineering and IT. Karen enjoys outdoor activities-especially boating, watching sports and spending time with her family.
