Karen has over 25 years of expertise from various roles in the IT, Project Management and Digital space to her work as Head of Data Management for Defense at Rolls-Royce. She began her career at IBM as a software engineer for a customer. She began to dabble in project management and realized that she liked creating plans, so she decided to focus her career in IT project management. For the past 10 years, Karen has brought all her past experiences to Rolls-Royce in the world of data.

Additionally, Karen is passionate about getting more women in STEM careers. She serves as an advisor on the Women’s Employee Resource group as a past president and is a mentor to women at Rolls-Royce. Karen also participates in external STEM events to encourage young women into the field.

Since 2020 Karen has served as an Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Association for the Indianapolis Chapter. She advocates for public policy that increases research funding and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases.
