By 2020, it has been projected that 40% of American workers will be freelancers, thereby changing the definition of work as we know it. Dr. Albert has written about this forthcoming trend in several books, most recently in Multipationals: The Changing World of Work, and How To Create Your Best Career Portfolio (2015). As one who has studied and tracked career development in the 21st century, Dr. Albert is uniquely situated to share both how to prepare for this new tsunami in the way we "work" in America, as well as to how to seize this opportunity, maximize it, and create higher levels of personal and professional job satisfaction. Come to listen to Dr. Albert, herself a true “multipational,” as she shares what she's learned through tracking the new gig economy.
Lunch will be provided.
