Board Member Active Emeritus: Tonya Hanshew

Tonya Hanshew

A longtime advocate for women in STEM, Tonya has been a member of Women & Hi Tech since 2006, joined the board in 2011, served as President from 2014–2015, and continues to serve on the board as an Active Emeritus member.

Tonya is a Senior Proposal Manager and Team Lead for global proposal management at Veeva Systems, where she leads complex, high-impact SaaS-based solution proposals for clients across the life sciences and consumer products sectors. She is a certified Solution Selling executive and a Certified Foundations member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. Prior to Veeva and her entrepreneurial ventures with Write 4 the Win LLC and Agency360 LLC, Tonya held key roles in business and technology consulting firms including Capgemini, World Wide Technology, Haverstick, A Kratos Company, Knowledge Services, and CSpring. She has also been a member of the Indiana Digital Government Summit Advisory Board.

She attended the University of Cincinnati where she majored in Business Management. In addition to her corporate leadership, Tonya is a certified life coach who empowers women in seasons of transition—helping them move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose. She also remains deeply rooted in her community, serving as a commissioned Stephen Leader and ordained Elder at New Hope Presbyterian Church.
